What is the company tax return price with Taxley?
The CT600 price is one fee per return, taken through Stripe only when you choose to file: £9.50 for a dormant company, £39.95 with micro-entity accounts or £129 with small-company accounts. A first period longer than 12 months is still one fee, and filing the accounts at Companies House is included.
Dormant
Nil return for a dormant company
£9.50
per return · No VAT to add
- Nil CT600 return
- With or without dormant accounts
- Micro or small-company dormant accounts
- Includes filing dormant accounts at Companies House
Who it's for
Best for: a company with no significant transactions in the period — a quick nil return to HMRC. If you attach dormant accounts, you can file them at Companies House too, at no extra cost.
Do you need to file? If HMRC has already been told your company is dormant for Corporation Tax, you usually don't need to file a Company Tax Return — unless HMRC sends you a notice to deliver one, in which case you must. Companies House accounts are a separate obligation. Read more on GOV.UK (opens in a new tab).
Micro accounts
FRS 105 micro-entity
£39.95
per return · No VAT to add
- CT600 return + tax computation (iXBRL)
- FRS 105 iXBRL accounts
- Balance-sheet checks
- Includes filing your accounts at Companies House
Who it's for
Best for: most small companies — meet any 2 of the 3: turnover ≤ £1m, balance sheet ≤ £500k, ≤ 10 employees. These limits apply to periods starting on or after 6 April 2025; earlier periods use £632k turnover / £316k balance sheet. Some companies (e.g. charities) can't use micro-entity accounts. A charity usually needs the Small plan, which includes the full CT600E pages.
Small accounts
FRS 102 §1A
£129
per return · No VAT to add
- Everything in Micro
- FRS 102 §1A accounts
- Abridged accounts option
- Includes filing your accounts at Companies House
Who it's for
Best for: companies that have outgrown the micro limits but still count as small, or want fuller FRS 102 disclosures.

What's the difference between the Dormant, Micro and Small plans?
The plans differ by the accounts filed with your CT600. Dormant is a nil return, with or without dormant accounts, for a company with no significant transactions. Micro adds FRS 105 micro-entity accounts for companies within the micro limits, and Small adds FRS 102 §1A accounts for small companies that have outgrown them.
| Plan | Who it's for | Price | What's filed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dormant | Companies with no significant transactions in the period | £9.50 | Nil CT600 return, with or without dormant accounts |
| Micro accounts | Most small companies within the micro-entity limits | £39.95 | CT600, tax computation and FRS 105 iXBRL accounts |
| Small accounts | Small companies above the micro-entity limits | £129 | CT600, tax computation and FRS 102 §1A iXBRL accounts |

Companies House accounts filing — live since 28 September 2026 and included in the fee at no extra cost. Companies House doesn't charge for annual accounts. Once your return is paid and the accounts are finished, press “File accounts at Companies House” on the filing page. You'll need your company's 6-character authentication code.
Companies House filing covers the accounts Taxley prepares. Taxley doesn't file uploaded accounts, other accounts Companies House already has, first accounts for a period that doesn't start on the incorporation date, or a community interest company's accounts, which go to Companies House with a community interest company report. The accounts must also end within 7 days of the accounting reference date Companies House holds; if they don't, Taxley can't file them there, and the filing page says what to do (file earlier accounts first, change the date where that's still allowed, or contact support).

First year longer than 12 months? Say you incorporate on 1 March 2026 with a first year-end of 30 April 2027 — a 14-month first period. HMRC requires two Corporation Tax periods and two CT600 returns to cover it (1 Mar 2026–28 Feb 2027, then 1 Mar–30 Apr 2027) — but it's one filing with us, one fee, not two.
You only pay when you choose to file; the fee shown is charged securely at that point, with no VAT to add. Free to prepare and preview beforehand. Amending a return you filed with Taxley is free, and so is correcting and resending a return HMRC rejected. See the FAQ, how filing works, or what you can file with Taxley.

Only when you choose to file. Preparing and previewing your whole return — the CT600, computation and iXBRL accounts — is free. You pay the one-off fee via Stripe after you confirm the finished return, before it can be submitted to HMRC; you can submit it later. There is no subscription.
One fee covers the CT600 return, the Corporation Tax computation and the FRS 105 or FRS 102 §1A iXBRL accounts, filed to HMRC. It also covers filing those accounts at Companies House: micro-entity, small, abridged or dormant accounts. No VAT is charged. Once the return is paid and the accounts are finished, you file the accounts at Companies House from your filing page.
No. Taxley is pay-as-you-file — you pay once per return, only when you file. Nothing recurring.
No. One fee covers the return to HMRC and the accounts at Companies House, and Companies House charges no fee for annual accounts. To file there, you need your company's 6-character Companies House authentication code. Taxley doesn't file the confirmation statement, which has its own Companies House fee.
No. No VAT is charged on Taxley's fees, so the price on each plan is the whole price: £9.50, £39.95 or £129 per return, with nothing added at checkout.
The dormant plan costs £9.50 — a nil CT600 plus dormant micro accounts for a single low fee, skipping the profit and loss step entirely. Note that if HMRC already knows your company is dormant for Corporation Tax, you may not need to file at all unless HMRC sends you a notice to deliver a return. An active company with no income or expenses isn't dormant, though — it still needs a normal Corporation Tax return with zero figures; choose the Micro or Small plan instead and enter zeros.
A first period of account longer than 12 months (up to 18) is split into two Corporation Tax periods and two CT600 returns — but it's one filing with us, so you pay the fee once, not twice.
Nothing. Amending a return you filed with Taxley is included, at no extra charge, once HMRC has accepted it, normally within 12 months of the filing deadline. The amended return goes to HMRC. Correcting a return HMRC rejected and sending it again is also included. If that period's accounts aren't at Companies House yet, you can file them there too. Taxley can also file amended accounts at Companies House, at no extra charge, to replace micro-entity, small, abridged or dormant accounts it filed there that didn't comply; the figures stay as filed, so to correct figures, contact support.
